The housing is made of robust, resistant, powder-coated steel. The fan blades are made of alloyed aluminum and have an optimal flow profile for quiet running. 
The motor and fan are connected to the housing via steel struts and this ensures high resistance. 
BTFM fans are designed for efficient use in pipe systems and have an asynchronous external motor with EX protection for the highest safety requirements.
